Augusta Rasimena Dorius

Augusta Rasimena Dorius was born October 29, 1838, in Kobenhavn, Denmark, the daughter of Nicolai Dorius and Ane Sophie Christoffersen. She married Henry Stevens, Jr., July 24, 1854, in Ephraim, Utah, and was sealed to him the following day in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, when he was 42 and she was 15 (four children: Charles J., Laura A., Ellen M. and Juliet). The family moved to Spring City. In 1861 Henry and Augusta moved to Dixie for Henry's health, and lived there for three years. Mary Ann died in Spring City March 19, 1864. Henry and Augusta returned to Ephraim in 1864, then moved to Rockwell, and returned to Ephraim in 1870, where they lived until Henry's death on August 20, 1899. Augusta died July 28, 1926, in Salt Lake City and was buried July 31 in Ephraim.
